Well done
It’s given me inspiration to update The Little Exsis Book
Dilemma which discussion: Leisure Battery or Solar Panels

Hi Fred
Scratching of head trying to remember what I did. I’ve re-read my post and I don’t think I used sealant I left well alone as it wasn’t leaking. Also Oliver Dill did not replace the sealant as he say’s it was pushed out from the outer frame.
The new roof light has worked well but, because it’s probably not the up-to-date type with the extra ventilation, it gets very hot inside. I have resorted to raising it slightly in very warm weather and shutting it when rain is forecast.
Good luck.

Hi Michele & Jez,
We worried about the bed access when we bought our first Exsis 16 years ago when I was 62. You only need 3 steps to get to the ‘leg over’ position and I still find it easy. Keeps me fit.
More challenging was lifting the bed but with powerful struts this is easy as well

Hi Mike & Elaine.
Another thought try these https://www.vanspares.co.uk/ they are a breakers yard who supplied me with my latest wiper mechanism
Tom
Hi Mike & Elaine.
Look at discussion 128 in The Little Exsis Book. Fred had a substitute cable but I can’t access the old site via the link.
Maybe Barry can help you with that
Good Luck
Tom
Hi Barry
How are you
Is the pdf available to us all
Tom
Hi Tony
You did add to the discussion on OBDs. It’s in the Little Exsis Book. Search for OBD. It’s page 956.
I bought WIFI SuperbOBD which supportsOBDII protocols. It did clear a fault on my grandson’s car using one of these apps. DashCmd or OBD fusion.
Hope this helps
Tom 😀

Well done. Excellent work keeping the site operational.
Thank you for the kind words. The book was my off line copy of the website discussions. Initially a few notes to help when there was no internet available.
Have fun and keep in touch. If you end up with another motorhome please come to the next Exsis meet
All the best to you both
Tom & Carol
I’ve just loosened them. I reckon if I had loosened the original 200n they would have operated easier

Hi Barry
The captive nuts on the original struts were tight so I tightened the new ones as well. Thinking about it this must defeat the objective as the struts have to work against the friction imposed by the tight nuts.
What do you think.Tom
Thanks Barry
The struts arrived today so did the job. Now when I separate the mattresses the bed starts to lift on its own.
