Soooo happy!
Done 😊 It’s the least we can do! Thanks again, Barry, for your time, energy, advice – and money paid out of your own pocket until now. Thanks, Stephen, for your invisible but no doubt essential support. And thanks, Fred and Gill, for your generous offer (which I’m sure will not be needed when enough members are aware of the issue).
I quite agree, Barry. Even if they don’t have the spacious feel of our Exsis!
Hi Marley,
I don’t worry about running the built-in Truma heater (which we find quite satisfactory) off the leisure battery. The manual states that the fan takes 1A on “low” and 2,3A on “high”. So – theoretically at least! – with e.g. a 90Ah battery you could run the heater for 90 hours on “low”, and that’s nearly 4 days on end.
Our 75W solar panel and two 75Ah batteries give us peace of mind!
We also carry a very simple 230V heater (700W or 1200W selection switch) for heating things up quickly (and economising on gas) when we’re hooked up. Effective, if noisy.Hi Chris & Susan!
You made it to the forum 😃! Good job!
Three Exsises but four encounters with Exsis owners, when you count Briksdal Glacier plus our second meeting in Oslo. Apart from you, we met just one other (french) Exsis during our 4 months-plus trip through Denmark, Sweden and Norway. So there’s another record for you 😊!
Keep us posted about your plans. When you’re on your way up again (not for aaaaages yet of course) we could try and zip down into France to meet up somewhere!
Enjoy! But I don’t think you need any encouragement, do you 👍
Peter and Chris
Fantastic job, Stephen and Barry. A HUGE (in caps!) thanks for all the time and effort you put in to the “old” forum as well as for this achievement!
