Hi all, sorry but its me again, as i have not  had a winter in the van, i am struggling to understand the heater system, having read the manuel. As i understand it when the  operating unit is switched to No 5, for winter, surely you need the fan to distribute the hot air ?.so if the fan is tuned on, it follows that the heater in winter mode is then  cancelled ?or is it?

              Hi Barry,

Thanks for that, i don’t use very much power, (1 small light for reading , and television when i can get a signal, but only for 2/3 hrs, so i suspect i will go down the same route as yourself, can you give me some details regarding the charger?,

                Hi again,

Yes my thoughts exactly, but as i do a lot of  wild camping, i was looking for a heater which does not have  to rely on battery to run the fan? and the  wave 3 seemed a good idea.

I don’t know how long the leisure  battery would last in winter while using the conventional blown air heater which is fitted to the Exsis? if not connected to a hookup, perhaps a second battery is the answer?

                  Hi,

thanks for the info, it does state in the literature that a small window must be open while the heater is in use, which is for air quality, but i would imagine that a window ajar would cancel out most of the condensation. I will contact the firm, and ask what there recommendations are, but i do appreciate the feed back.

                    Hi all,

removed bumper section, had it repaired at local  car body repairers, 80.00 pounds well spent, cannot tell it was ever damaged, thanks all for all the info.

                      Hi,

still not figured out how the corner sections are fixed, i can see the  screw fittings underneath, but nothing else, presumably the indecator, and rear light needs removing along with the  reflector, and inner, but what else is holding it on ?

thanks for all the info, i think at those prices, i can repair it myself, you say they are easy to get off as i haven’t tried yet any tips?

                              Hi all,

just a thought on speedo mileage, on my vehicle, it has the original  speedo, as fitted, because my vehicle is a lefthand drive, and imported from Bremen, the speedo reads in klm per hr, similarly the mileage is in alms. perhaps this is the answer.

                                Hi again,

have just had a close look underneath, and there is a very thin plastic nut, it had  slipped to the side i have retrieved it, so provided i can get a box spanner on it things could be looking up.

                                  Hi Fred,

didn’t have much choice in removing female piece, as they were both fused together so came out as one, getting them apart was a pain, finding a rubber seal  for the female to tank is a problem.

Looking from underneath there is absolutely nothing which fixes the female to the tank, must rely on the thread which is in the tank thickness less than quarter of an inch.

Will keep you posted as to how i get on  fingers crossed have found the correct O ring for the male to female part so halfway there.
