Thanks for the replies, which are both appreciated. I tried responding on my phone last night, but the screen was too small to see what I’d written. I’ve dried out the small area of internal wall effected, no problem, and have sealed the outside temporary with tape over the rubber gasket seal, which has worked well . I intend sorting the issue next week and will update this thread with my approach as there’s bound to be others who just need to understand the issue a bit more before starting work.

Good new is that the rest of the van is 100%.

Bathroom nice and dried out today. I need to lift the rubber strip to reveal the roof to body panel joint. I’m a bit hesitant until I confirm the correct seal type, however I think it will be non drying sealant such as Hodgesons seamseal cv rather than Sikoflex 512 Is anyone able to confirm this. I’m hoping the rubber seal will fit back in place?? Just waiting for a motorhome specialist to confirm what it’s profile is. Has anyone removed the rubber strip and able to shed any light on its reuse at all? Many thanks. Keith
