I put this tip in the gas strut mod. Maybe it should be separate

Here’s a little tip to make lifting the bed easier.
Move the duvet onto the front mattress
Underneath the bed, lower the bedding flap
Separate the 2 mattresses by pushing up the front edge of the rear mattress
        Close the flap
        Lift the bed

That’s really good, Tom – one of those things that seems “obvious”, but only after it is pointed out to you!!

I think Exsis Owners have finally solved all the aspects of “putting away the bed”!

          Thanks Tom.

            Hi Barry

When the flap is down, put a pillow on each side under the edge of the mattress then close it to hold the mattress higher.
Carol lifted the bed with ease.
Only taken 15 years and 2 Exsisses 🤔

Great tip, Tom! And so good that Carol is even able to put the bed away. It really should ALWAYS have been that easy. Hymer dont get everything right, first time…

                Hi Barry

Maybe that was one of the original ideas for the bedding flap.

                I’ve ordered the struts.

Maybe, Tom? I’ve always thought the little door a bit useless.

You’ll be stunned by the difference the struts make, too, but maybe you don’t need them if Carol can pop the bed up so easily?
